Indian ADRs ended higher on Friday. In the banking space,
ICICI Bank was up 0.47 percent at USD 8.78 and HDFC Bank rose 1.90 percent at
USD 73.62.
In the IT space, Infosys gained 0.49 percent at USD 15.77 and
Wipro added 0.31 percent at USD 10.20.
In the other sectors, Tata Motors
gained 2.06 percent at USD 36.70 and Dr Reddy's Laboratories slipped 1.36
percent at USD 41.72.
Shares of DLF (number of shares traded: 0.47 crore), followed by Sun TVBSE 10.15 % (0.30 crore), VedantaBSE 2.01 % (0.14 crore), Punjab National BankBSE 0.45 % (0.14 crore), Dr Reddy's Labs (0.13 crore) and State Bank of IndiaBSE 0.13 % (0.12 crore) were trading as the most active stocks in terms of volume on NSE in Friday's early trade.
