Gold edged up on Tuesday as bargain hunters moved in after prices touched their lowest in 10 months the session before.
* Spot gold was up 0.2 percent at USD 1,172.92 an ounce by
0100 GMT. The yellow metal touched USD 1,157 an ounce on Monday, its most
reduced since February 5.

* US gold futures , which also touched a 10-month
low in the previous session, shed 0.2 percent to USD 1,174.40 for each ounce.
* Holdings of the SPDR Gold Trust , the world's biggest
gold-backed exchange-traded fund fell 0.04 percent to 869.90 tons on Monday.
